Type of a scam Employment
I do not know for sure if this is a scam. But all the red flags are there. I received an email about a project manager position. Of course the pay was great, and the hours were just what I wanted. The email told me to apply on their company website Bakisa-AG.com and then I would have a brief phone interview. Done and done. I was very surprised to be offered the position after such a shallow phone interview. The next step would be a 1 month training that pays $2k upon completion and pretty much a guarantee that you have the project manager position. I had to sign an agreement pretty much stating that I am signing on for the training, but not an actual employee. After about 5 days of “training” which consisted of a regional manager sending a case study and me sending back responses to questions, they offered me a “special project” which pays $750 in commission per project. It would involve me procuring equipment for the office they are building in my area. This is where the red flag came up again. I believe that any legitimate business would already have people in place to set up a new office they are building.
So far, the only info they have from me is:name, address. Phone number and email. No money or account information has been shared yet.
I have been searching online for about two weeks trying to find any information I can about this company. Aside from their website, there is nothing good, nothing bad. Just nothing.
I am hoping to find some clarity soon.
