Type of a scam Tech Support
Went to the Canon Store and purchase a Canon Printer. Didn’t use it right away because of health problems. The printer wouldn’t attach to the computer and when I got it attach, the colors wasn’t clear. The colors were off, items that were printed had a gray undertone, or a pinkish undertone. Printer would never work properly so, I call Cannon, they sent me out another printer and that one did work at all. Then I got a call from Basic Software Solution and they said they could tell me how to hock it up. All I had to do is give them access to my computer. In my 84 years, I should have known better, they told me for $129.00 I had a Trojan in my computer and they could clear that up. That would probably only last a week. For another $70.00 they could insure me that they could take care of the problem for a year. So, I let them do it. When I tried to use my computer no-thing change. That’s when I figure it was a scam. That’s when I went to a local computer company and had my computer clean out. The Canon Printer still doesn’t work. Later looking up the company, everything I found was in Chinese. Couldn’t reach anyone.
