Type of a scam Counterfeit Product

I went in to have my 1997 Jaguar XK8 rim ring replaced. The ring was replaced and I went to pick up my vehicle. The technician- Justin Jurgens (son of the owner- Peter Jurgens) hopped in my car and immediately said, "Oh no. The car isn’t running right. What a coincidence.) He said he needed to put the car through their scanner to see what was wrong. A few minutes later, Justin said it looks like it’s the fuel pump which will cost approximately $650. However, he needed to do more in depth testing to be sure. My car was in perfect condition when I drove it to their facility to simply have the rim ring replaced. I conferred with my husband and decided to have Triple AAA pick the car up and tow it to the car repair shop (Bavarian Auto Haus) we use on a regular basis. Once the car was there, I asked the technician- Jeremy if we could start the car and see if it would start. We started the car and it was perfectly fine. British Sports Cars did something fraudulent to my car in order to receive additional money from me. That is a scam and I’m warning everyone.
