Type of a scam Online Purchase
This was an online sports & casino gambling business which operates the following website:
http://www.bookmaker.eu
I have an account which was opened and have tried to initiate a withdrawal but I am unable and the account has been limited in terms of placing restrictions on my ability to access the cashier. I informed support via online chat, that I would contact my bank concerning this fraud/scam policy they have in place preventing withdrawals from customer accounts. My balance on the account in question is $1,307.08 and I was unable to make a $500 withdrawal from my account due to these restrictive policies which are designed to prevent any reasonable withdrawal of my funds.
The website operates by using convoluted freeplays and bonuses on initial deposits which trick users into amassing a larger capital which in the end increases the rollover amount so in essence, you can never make enough in winnings to ever withdraw any amount.
In my case, my initial deposit of $300 incurred the following rollover scheme:
A deposit of $300 and receive a bonus with 20x rollover and then you received a referral bonus of $50 with 3x rollover. As a result, I would essentially prevented from ANY withdrawal until my wager rollover amount which was set at $6150 was reached. I would have to wager that much and have some balance remaining until I could ever withdraw any amount.
This was indicated to me in chat with a support rep. I have a transcript of the message. I also received the following email message from support in regards to my initial withdrawal attempt:
Greetings
Please be aware that you have not completed the rollover requirement attached to the free play(s) received. When calculating a rollover, keep in mind we always take into account the lowest amount of the wager. For instance, if you placed a wager risking $110 to win $100, the amount considered for the rollover would be $100. Please remember that no actions, pushes, or cancellations are not counted towards the rollover.
At the moment, you still need to rollover $4818

This makes it impossible as the odds of wagering enough and obtaining any winnings are stacked against the account holder. With a current balance of only $1307.08 and needing to wager for a rollover of $4818 my risk would be extremely unfair since the rollover is calculated from the lower amount. The system is designed so you can almost never withdraw since so much has to be wagered to determine the rollover which drastically increases your risk and loss of the entire account.
In other words the system they have is designed so you loose. This is a scam.
As of Nov 23,2015 my account access has been prevented and I can no longer login to my account to access my balance or place wagers. I have filed a dispute with my bank & CC for the deposit which is part of my balance. I have also filed complaints with the ICC and NY State Attorney.
