I received an email from this lady, saying that it was through Career Builders, offering me a position for a financial associate. She goes on to tell me about the company its heritage, products, etc. She stated that they are a leading supplier of ophthalmic instruments, equipping and servicing independent and larger chain opticians as well as Britain’s and USA hospitals. The job would work like this: "We have a great number of transactions, out of those some are paid by our clients through checks. International checks are cleared in 7 to 21 days in the E.U. due to bank policies and laws. This waiting period hinders our income considerably. We found a solution that requires processing U.S. payments before they are forwarded to us through other means and this is where you can assist us. The only requirements to start this job are: a mailing address (home, office or P.O. box can be used) where we can direct the payments and bank account (we do not need any information or access to your account, only your name as it appears on your bank statement to prevent delays). When our company receives a payment, we then instruct our client to send you the payments through USPS, written in your name and only upon verifying funds availability. You receive the payments, process the payments using your existing bank account, forward our share and keep 10% for yourself." She states that the benefits of the position are: ten percent share from each payment you process; monthly salary of $4,800 sent in the form of a cashier check; and additional monthly bonuses.
