Type of a scam Sweepstakes/Lottery/Prizes
I received a check in the mail from Boundless/Publisher’s Clearinghouse for $7,700. It stated that I needed to deposit the check immediately and call the above phone number as soon as I deposited the check. The letter said I had won a $450,000 Publisher’s Clearinghouse Sweepstakes and once I deposited the check I would receive the rest of the prize winnings. I didn’t deposit the check. I did call the number, though, and there was a lot of noise in the background. I could already tell it was a scam and I will not deposit the check but wanted to inform the ScamPulse.com.
