Type of a scam Other

Scammers on this site say they will sell you a puppy for a good price. They have numbers that are not local- many are Maryland numbers- to the listing and once you tell them where you are from they add a listing to that same area. They will send pics of their puppies which are different ages and should be the same. English is broken in text messages, they use religion- such as God Bless you. They will not give their name or address and claim they have to go to the vet to get papers through to you and need a paypal payment. Animal papers do not require a vet trip (especially on a Sunday when they vets are closed). They ask for the paypal payment to be through friends and family and repeated ask it’s done through that and for proof of payment so they can go collect the payment fast as possible. Multiple names and emails will show up in this process. It seems to be the perfect find, any gender available, great price and it is all a scam. Another scammer claimed to have moved (to texas) and had a family death and even though the dog is listed as a price they insist it’s adoption and only a payment for shipping is needed. These scammers ask questions to make sure your family is a good fit. For paper work for your puppy they will ask your full name and address, gathering as much personal information about you as they can.
