I received a link that was attached to a contact of my through LinkedIn stating here’s your chance to make extra money by being a mystery shopper. They asked for my name, address, occupation, and phone number. They sent me a check for a few thousand dollars and asked me to tell them when I deposited it, by e-mailing them back a keywork "confirmed". Sounded fishy to me so I called the ScamPulse.com and was advised to shred the check and report it.
