Got a payment plan to pay off a debt and when I called to make a payment it says to hot 1 for help. When I pressed 1 it hung up on me. Cynthia called me back and told me to just send money by mail bec as use their call center is closed. I got suspicious and looked on line and it mentions only one employee and the company is closed.

1st voicemail from a month ago, addressed to my maiden name(married 25 yrs): She claims that I committed a felony by attempting to obtain a loan on a closed account thru National Loan Co. and that a warrant would be served for my arrest. A second voicemail from yesterday, 4/19/2018, same number: He says I have 2 felony charges, requested info & Soc Sec #, threatened warrant served at my place of employment. They claim to be out of TX but my research shows that they are based in GA. I’ve lived in Iowa all my life and other than my 25 year old mortgage, and a couple of IA student loans, paid off 28 years ago, I’ve only ever obtained loans thru my local Credit Union.
