Inquired about Mystery Shopper opportunity. Website looks legit and stated not to fall for pay up front scams. I was expecting additional information BUT, the next thing I know, I received a check for over $2,300 and an information sheet with info to cash check and purchase 2 $500 AMEX gift cards at 2 different stores ($2,000), send photo (front & back), etc…
Felt something wasn’t right, and looked at check again… HA! Spelling error on check… FRIST vs. FIRST… that was enough investigating for me… SCAM!!!
