I ordered a product from BlueLeaf Shop (powered by shopify). The web address showed as secure and "We use encrypted SSL security to ensure your credit card information is 100% protected." From what I looked at, the shop seemed to be legitimate. I place and order for shoes for $92. The debit was made to my checking account the day of the purchase and I received a confirmation of order email. A week went by and no status change. I emailed to address provided asking for an update. No response. I tried 3 more times over the past two weeks and have received no communication from them. I asked Shopify for help contacting the merchant and they would not help me. To dispute the charge I must cancel my debit card which is a massive inconvenience.
