Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was contacted by text 12/4/2019 by a Ryan Stewart from Best Mark Inc Shopping Survey. He indicated that the 1st assignment would be sent to me via USPS. He also sent me an email that the first assignment & instructions & payment. Received 12/19 with a check for $2750. check from a credit union in Sierra Vista, Az. envelope sent by Mary Mouammar of Covington, Georgia. I immediately googled the name and the ScamPulse.com page came up that it is a scam. I have no intentions to try & cash check. I need to know how to proceed & and if I need to contact law enforcement agency? Looking for advice.
