Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Received email after posting on Autotrader. Asked the price of the car and offered to mail check, saying vehicle would be picked up upon check’s clearance. Sent a check for more than the price asked, and would’ve profited the $8,000.00 difference had I not suspected something was amiss.
