Online Facebook ad for past season clearance of bogs brand boots, sent to website that required entry of name, address. PayPal listed as payment type at bottom of site, but not available at checkout. Different amount charged to card than total on site; confirmation email claims this is due to “the foreign exchange rate.” “HENGDATO CO” listed rather than company name on bank statement. Confirmation email claims this is a “payment processing tool.” Difficult to determine if seller is selling counterfeit product or if it is a scam where no product will be sent. Poor grammar and nonsensical writing discovered throughout website after transaction completed. No customer service phone. Immediately canceled credit card.
Please note I have not given time for seller to provide product but upon review this website/transaction has all the hallmarks of a scam.
