Type of a scam Tech Support
In making a call to Verizon somehow they intercepted call and said our computer had been hacked by bad emails from Mexico. They said they would fix it and sent a bill for $300.00. through email. I was on the phone for a very long time. I said I would pay them by check and they asked for the check number and Bank. My wife told me she didn’t like the sound of this and to hang up. They called me the following day and I hung up on them. Haven’t heard from them since.
