Type of a scam Online Purchase
Saw an RV on Craigslist for a Forest River Sunseeker RV. I used the reply button. Within a day a woman replied and said that she was now selling the Unit for her older father but were using a Consignor to handle the transaction. her email is as follows. [email protected] She also sent me a link to the company…..https://www.autodemag.com/Inventory_1/WST7671206/. The Link showed the unit pictures and website but I could not get them to answer the phone or respond on their Chat line. They indicate that I must Register but when I do it asks me a bunch of questions and assumes I am making an offer. I did. I then find out that the unit is in Miami yet the Craigs listing is in Beaumont, Texas. the Lady replies and pushes me to buy….saying she has other offers. I had reponded that I first need to look at the RV. Shortly there after I get an email saying has been sold. I might mention that I find many many internet reviews on this company but some of the links looked to have been hacked by them. I find nothing on them. I doubt their address provided stating one of their locations is in Miami is valid. I believe this is a very well thought out scam. I never sent them a penny.
