Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill
Receive an "official looking" notice labelled with "Do Not Destroy" on the envelope. Inside, a pink letter warned of an impending home warranty coverage lapse, and failure to call within 10 days of receiving the notice would result in the expiration of coverage.
They (he?) have two websites:
stophomerepairs.com
thetechchoice.com

This company sends scare-tactic snail mail that insinuates that the home owner has let some sort of service expire or lapse. In reality, the home owner doesn’t have any coverage with this company, and their "warranty" is not valuable. "It is important for you to contact our firm…within 10 days of receiving this notice" on bright pink, official-looking paper. "Based on your purchase date you may have a Home Warranty policy that could expire SOON." Oh no! The warranty I never bought because it covers nearly nothing in my house? Shame on them and their advertising tactics.
