My business received an email from the Outsourced Billing Department of "American Yellow Group, Inc." located in Bulgaria. The invoice is dated 5/06/2016 and states that this is a pending invoice for twelve months dating back to 2/03/2015. The terms are payable immediately. This is a collection warning and it is the "Last chance to protect your credit score in good standing!!!" The services that have supposedly been provided by American Yellow Group are Facebook and Twitter Features. The "walking fingers" logo is at the top of the invoice and the MasterCard and Visa logos are used in the invoice payment box; however there is no place to provide a MasterCard or Visa account number. The instructions are to Send check. A one year listing is $498.95 or a two year listing is $798.95. A signature block is included and the instructions are to return the bottom portion of the statement with the payment. In BOLD/CAP letters a reminder is provided "NEEDS INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE!"
We all know this is a scam because first; Facebook and Twitter are free accounts. Second; my business has neither a Facebook or Twitter page.
