Type of a scam Tech Support
I could not access my books in Kindle Friday night and in looking for where to find help. The only site that was coming up was AGA Tech Experts (nothing showed up for Amazon). AGA rep told me that I had been hacked and that they needed to install a firewall. I was tired and upset and allowed them to do this (two hours later) and they charged me $99.95. Fortunately, I did not to give them a card no. and they told me to send in a check for that amount (which I haven’t done.) On Saturday I contacted Amazon, and was told that AGA had hacked me. AGA had not restored those books to me and those books have been restored through Amazon. In the meantime, I have received an email statement from AGA for $99.95 and a call this morning (000-000-0000) from them. I told them I was working through Amazon and not to contact me. Amazon had me change both their password and my Comcast password (as far as I can tell no other accounts have been affected). The local FBI suggested I contact you.
