My grandson locked up my phone so I had him google Apple Tech on his phone so I could get some help. Unfortunately, we picked a company that popped up that wasn’t really Apple. They had me get an iTunes card for $100 to fix my phone. He stayed on the phone with me the whole time I was getting the card. Once I gave him the card info, he then said it would be another $100 to actually fix my phone. That’s when I knew I had been scammed. I told the guy I thought it was a scam and he started calling me an [censored] and then put on his supervisor who was just as bad.

I received numerous calls saying that my gmail account has had 8 or more attempts of someone failing to log in. They want me to provide them my information. Online other people are receiving calls from the same number with an accent stating their phone has malware on it. I blocked the number.
