Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Accepted offer to be mystery shopper, received check written on TECH Credit Union for $2465.15 by way of priority mail USPS. I was to deposit check into my bank account within 24 hrs. Then text a message Stating “FUNDS DEPOSITED”I was to keep $200.00 for my salary then go to Walmart money center to utilize one of there new products at the money center. Proceed to purchases a list of items at the same store and write a survey report. Stating the quicker I did this the sooner my next assignment would be delivered! I did not cash check and will not have any further contact with these scam artists
