Type of a scam Phishing
I was selling a car on craigslist and they posed as an interested buyer. First email was: "I’m reaching you on behalf of my husband.
really interested , please give me your email address so he can get back to you later today" Next was this one:
"I’m ready to come and talk over the details.
I also need to make sure everything is legit on the vehicle. Can you provide a current Title Report?
My loan officer has requested a report from https://vthreport.com/
I would really feel more comfortable buying a vehicle with an official Title report."
The site is not legit and after a little research found the same scam, wording is the same as well.
