Person shows up at my elderly mothers house saying he was there to upgrade the Brinks security system, but id said he was a security consultant for Anthem Security Systems, Inc. He said Brinks had not sent him. He was to come back to switch out equipment. While he was gone, I called Brinks. The agent there said the man was not authorized to work on their equipment and that it was probably a scam. The Brinks agent said to tell him to leave and, if he hesitated, to call police. When he came back, that’s what I did. He tried to convince me he was ok, but I cut him off and shut the door.
