We called the company for an emergency roofing repair due to a leak.
They examined the roof and estimated the repair to be $1200. They were given the OK to proceed and returned three days later and said the problem was worse than anticipated and that part of the roof needed to be ripped up and the roof needed to be sealed with approx. 100 gallons of rubber sealer.
After 45 minutes I told them to stop what they were doing and I needed to confirm what they told me.
They then told me that they were finished and would not leave my office until I gave them checks totalling $9500.
I have a paper signed by them describing all the work they allegedly performed.
A second roofer confirmed that all they did was paint the roof.
