Type of a scam Online Purchase
on 12/27/19 i contacted american bully home website using the website interface. I later received a email with a response with the info i had asked for about a puppy for sale. the email messaging when back to back a few times asking for more into like pictures of the puppy and parents. i agreed on a price of 600.00 for the dog and a 200.00 shipping fee. i was instructed to make payment via phone app but the app isnt work with my type of debit card so i was ask to buy walmart gift cards for the same price and send pictures of them to him. i did as instructed and later got a payment received email. i contacted the person via phone messaging to give info of address name and airport. the next day i received a email from pacifickennels.com with more info including a tracking number and info saying the shipment was grounded because the law said dogs needed insurance. which i looked up and it was false they was requesting 820.00 for insurance and also saying the 800.00 would be refunded after the delivery was complete. at this point i started looking into things a bit more and found the listed number for pacific kennels didnt work. thus adding to my bad feeling and started snooping and found out the website was list for scams. so i looked into the americanbullyhome.com and found no info. i also did a reverse phone search and found out the phone owner was listed as a el paso tx. needless to say im out 800 dollars but i did manage to avoid being scammed twice.
