Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was on Facebook and saw an advertisement to earn money putting a wrap on my car. I replied by text to the offer. 225-283-4121 A person would come and put a decal on my car. They wanted my full name, cell number, amount on check and check number I was sent. They mailed me a check of $3250.15 by priority mail. I questioned why they would send me a check for that amount. Their text number 408-805-7109. I was to deposit the check and call them. I did not deposit. I figured it was a scam. Company name is Ard Inc. doing business as Fig and Vine in Orlando FL. I received a text that was not professional. That was another red flag. The name on the check is Fairwinds Credit Union 135 West Central Blvd. Orlando FL 32801.
