Type of a scam Government Grant
On April 28 at approx. 12:45 p.m. I received a phone call from 1-818-352-6467. The caller’s name was something like "leGreen". He had an accent which sounded like that of a native of India. He told me me that my name and number had been selected to receive $9,000. which I would not have to repay. The money could be sent via direct deposit, transferred to a credit card, or sent via a money order. I hung up on him and am reporting this in the hope that others may be made aware of such obviously deceitful tactics.
