Type of a scam Online Purchase
While searching for an item on google one of the results linked to an online store called Fair Saves, at http://www.fairsavesonline.com The website looked very much like Walmart’s websites. On closer inspection, some of it actually seemed to be EXACTLY like Walmart’s website. I googled again to see if they were a subsidiary. No. I looked at other pages of the website and found that they had actually copied some of Walmart’s information and links changing the company name from Walmart to Fair Saves, but they had missed some. Some of the links even led back to Walmart, and when I clicked on one, I got a pop up message from Walmart security warning me that the website might be pretending to be Walmart. This website could be pretending to be a store to get consumers personal information and credit card information. Beware!
