Type of a scam Debt Collections
A man called me about a supposed debt from 13 years ago, a supposed payday loan and threatened me with civil prosecution if I didn’t pay up with my debit card. Somehow this man acquired my personal info and told me I had to pay him $900. I told him I didn’t have that kind of money, I’m disabled. Then he said because of financial hardship, he would settle for $200. I don’t know how these people orchestrate these types of scams, but this is a horrible thing.
