Type of a scam Employment
They hired me and gave me the title of Distribution Assistant. My job was to receive parcels and inspect them and then reship them to an address in New castle Delaware 19720-9010. They assigned me a an email address under the company name with email client 1&1 and a password which grants me access to both my online work panel and my email client. My daily routine every 9am is to sign in to my job panel to accept "tasks" if there are any. It’s how I make them know that I’m ready to accept a delivery. Each task is assigned an ID number which I’ll need to identify the parcel and its contents when I’m filling out a "condition form" which contain the following fields.
•Tracking number •ID number •Shipping company. •Description of goods and UPC • Length x Width x Height (inches). •Weight. • Any outside damage or defects. •Quantity.
This form is then emailed to my manager using the assigned company email, which is my [email protected] name.com or co.uk. A prepaid shipping label is then uploaded to my job panel as soon as a "customer provide their shipping information". I print the label and use it to ship the package. Once the package is shipped, I notify them that it has and await the next task.
They promised a wage of $3,900 per month +20 for each processed mail / parcel (if shipped not later than the next business day, after delivery). The 1st payment made 30 days after the employee has sent his first package. After first probation month employee shifts to a bi-weekly payment of $1950 + $20 for each processed mail / package (if shipped not later than the next business day, after delivery).
They said in their contract that I can select any method of payment out of the three, DIRECT DEPOSIT, PAY PAL, CHEQUE. They even claimed to offer medical and dental insurance after your 30 day probation period.
May 14, 2016 would’ve marked my 1st 30 days but I became suspicious and decided to research more thoroughly on online scams, and one similar in description to what I’m going through popped up, so I ended my association with them immediately. Fortunately I didn’t reveal to them any vital identity related information of myself.
