I got a text message from 727-819-6794, a person identifying himself as Mr. Paul Davidson. He said he was the Head Admin for ATA Engineering, Inc. He said he got my resume from Career Builder and was offering me a Customer Service job. If I had interest, please confirm by replying PROCEED. I then was asked to connect using Google hangouts app to the hiring manager MR HARRISON STEVEN at [email protected] After connecting with Mr. Harrison, he proceeded to ask me very legitimate questions regarding jobs available at ATA Engineering, Inc. I got on their website: www.ata-e.com and it was a legitimate company. After interviewing me for the job he said I would be sent an offer letter via email but in the meantime he needed more information from me so they could send me money to buy office supplies to start the new job. That is when I got suspicious and called ATA Engineering, Inc. in San Diego, CA. They said it was a scam and they had reported them to the FBI.
