Man called from 214.296.4232 re: lawsuit / subpoena for my mother (who has been deceased since November 2019). After asking questions about the lawsuit (filing date, county / court the lawsuit was filed, and case number), the man immediately changed his tone (somewhat agitated) and informed me that he could only provide this information to my mother or my mother’s attorney. Since I am the attorney handling her estate, I truthfully told him that I am the attorney of record for her probate case and he should be able to provide this information. Suddenly, the man became defensive and demeaning by stating, "I don’t care who you are, you need to send money for this lawsuit before we take your property!" and abruptly hung up the phone. I called the number back (anonymously) to get the name of their company, which is "ADR Legal Processing".
