Alliance Loan Support

Type of a scam Credit Repair/Debt Relief

I had multiple calls from this company regarding my incomplete application for student loan forgiveness from a DC number. As I am enrolled in student loan forgiveness and know that there was some confusion with COVID I thought I needed to speak with them to clear it up. When I called they confirmed my information like usual when I call studentloan.gov and then the representative changed my password on the studentaid.gov without my permission (by using the information provided) and accessed by account without my permission. I told him that was not ok and asked him to tell me what company his is with, it was my understanding that he was with student loans. gov but this is not something that they would do. He initially refused to tell me the name of the company and then proceeded to tell me of the benefit of working with them rather than with the government. When asked for the website so I could research the company he stated that he was not supposed to give the website address out. At this point I was obviously very uncomfortable and told him that this activity did not sound legitimate. He stated that he had already downloaded my loan. After being very persistent, he finally texted me the website attached. When I tried to call the number on it, I reached the voicemail of an individual. I am going to proceed with legal action against this company if any of my personal information obtained illegally is used in a harmful manner but would warn others against this scam and fraudulent behavior this company is demonstrating.
