Today, 6/16/20 I received a call from an “attorney” by the name of Nick Johnson stating that I owe 1372 for a past payday loan. He stated that if I did not pay this the cops would be at my door in an hour with paperwork and to take me to jail on a warrant of check deception. The phone number was 888-252-8681 and they claimed they were calling for a company called AACA Advances.

The scammer called my place of employment and told me that I would lose my job and that they would show up at my home with the police and have me arrested and that I would have to pay 5000 dollars in restitution unless I paid the $736.00 today by going to the doller store and buying gift cards to pay it quickly.
I just received this call and they told me that I would also have to pay 5000 in restitution and that I would go to jail today if I did not pay $1372
