I was contacted first by email about a free child safety kit. Just like any parent I wanted to protect my child. Ofcourse you hear free and you think why not I’ll listen and I was interested. After I put in my phone number in that email to receive my free kit. I was contacted by someone to give me more information about it. The kit is basically you listing your child’s information in her description. I didn’t see the harm at first because I’m not giving away her ss#. I was putting in her height weight hair color and blood type. They wanted hair sample and finger print which I didn’t provide. Then my wife told her mother and she warned us about scams like that and when we researched it. We were horrified about the reviews that showed up. Even news articles about people being scammed about this. I don’t know if the one that contacted me is a scammer but I provided her information so maybe with that the ScamPulse.com can find out if it is or isn’t. Thank you for your time and I hope no one else can get scammed.

Lady called at 8:30pm from 808-722-6585 saying she was with a company associated with my dad’s work. Trying to get my address and dad’s info. She also called my siblings she said my dad was gifting something so she needed more info. She knew my prior employers name and old address. They never leave messages. I know its a scam. So I hung up.
