The scammer contacts the interested person via phone then emails them details on how much the puppy costs and the fees included. Then asks for full name, address, email, phone number to validate the information. After payment is made, they use a fake shipping company to coerce more money from the victim due to saying the delivery fee has changed and payment must be made before the shipping continues.
