Type of a scam Employment
I answered a posting from the job site Indeed.com. Fab Gift LLC contacts you for a mail forwarding job, at home. They use your address to send packages that need to be forward out of the country. They state that some websites don’t allow shipments overseas, so to allow people from other countries to purchase items from the US they have to have a US address. I was told I’d be paid 30 days after I ship my first package. Well I was pretty sure this was a scam but was going to try it anyways. Today is the day I should be receiving payment, however I go to check their site and they have taken it down. They did attempt to get my bank account info for "direct deposit", I knew better than to give that out. I was out no money from my own pocket but spend some time shipping this stuff and driving to the post office. Not to mention being in procession of stolen goods.
