Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
I was contacted via FB messenger by whom I thought as a former co worker. Telling me of this Federal government. UN free Money. Person asked for a copy of my debit card front a back, luckily I only passed on the front and not the security cone on back. Asked for my home address and employment info. Kept asking if I had a credit card and via text message as well.
Finally I began to feel very uncomfortable when I am being rushed to make a decision on a loan that I must pay out of pocket 2000 USD for a grant thats is supposed to free. The name used via text message is a: "This is the Agent number (707) 403-3490, Her name is Sarah M McCartney, message her now that a friend told you about the federal government grant and you are here to apply for grant" ,this sent to me by former co worker by name of *** *** After trying to make several calls to speak directly, no one would answer their phone. This scam is currently running in Columbus, GA area. Please put an end to this. Thank God i go any further.
