I submitted my info for payroll purposes. Emailed back and forth for a couple months about a “Monsters Energy Drink” Advertisement Wrap on my vehicle. I received the initial check totaling $2860.55 via USPS Priority Mail. Instructions are as follows
Deposit check find out when the funds would be available for withdrawal.
(24/48 Hrs)
Imperative I Email “payroll dept” and text “William Moore” confirmation of deposit (*marking out sensitive info*) immediately. ($200 bonus Amazon gift card Bonus if completed within 24HRS of receiving the check.
$2350.55 was to pay the Technician/Installer who was to come install the wrap on my car. $500.00 was the 1st weekly salary payment.
I took steps verifying funds checking this wasn’t a scam and it brought me this far.
I greatly, Thank you.
Someone expressed interest in purchasing an item I listed for sale for $120. I got an email from a woman telling me that she sent the check but her husband accountant, sic, erroneously sent the check with the funds from my item along with her daughter’s monthly funds. She asked me to deposit the check and then send the difference to her daughter. I received the check for $1800+. I called the bank on which the check was drawn on and they confirmed it was a fraudulent account.

Claimed to he a decal company paying for advertising by placing a decal on your vehicle. I was sent a check for 2950 and told to deduct 500 for my pay and the rest would be used to pay whoever put the decal on my vehicle. They told me to deposit the check. I did then became suspicious so I contacted my bank they looked it over with their fraud dept and decided it was a fradulent check.
