Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
I was told that I could get a $1,500 dollar loan and they would put $990 in my account. I was told to go to the store and buy goggle play cards and send money back to them to make sure the account was active. They said they would forward another $500 to me and I was to do the same thing again. This time they had me send them the copy of receipt and cards and said when u do this call me so I can make sure we got it while talking on the phone . He said ok I got it. Your funds will be available the next day. When my bank got the check it was not from VA loans it was from Cooks Children and that’s a pediatrician place for kids. The next day they sent another check for the remaining amount. I don’t remember what that one was from. They left me high and dry and a negative balance in my account of over $1,700 so my account was froze and I no longer can use my debt card.
