Similar to other people that have spoken already. Listed a bike on craigslist. Have a gentleman that called himself ‘Dom’ insisting that he was ready to go right now with cash in hand just wanted a bike history report from bikehistoryreport.com. we checked out the website it looked like BS so I found a reputable website and got the history report. Sent it to the guy and he fired back so incredibly rude and pushy. Stating that I kept giving him what he didn’t want. Then I showed him this website showing that other people were having the same problem and that I knew what he was doing. I’m still waiting to see if he’s brazen enough to text me again.

Type of a scam Other

I’ve been selling a motorcycle online, and have been contacted by no less than four individuals via text message wanting me to buy a vehicle history report from various websites. Most recently bikehistoryreport.com. They’re between $25 and $50, and the scam is they’ll only see the vehicle after you’ve purchased a title report, but they never show up to actually look at the vehicle. Furthermore, I have a title report, and they insist on one from their specific website, or a more recent one. This is all fake, don’t fall for it.
