Type of a scam Government Grant
I got a phone call from a number that appeared only as "Washington DC" it was a foreign man who said i had won a grant because i had always paid my taxes on time and i was selected. He wanted to "verify" my info and wanted to wired the money into my bank account. When i would not confirm my social # or give banking info he said that was ok i could still receive the grant but i had to go to Walmart and purchase a itunes or amazon card for $250 and text him the number and send a picture. I realized this was a scam. i told him No and he started to mock me and curse at me. I told him do not call me again and i hung up. He called me back and continued to curse at me and even threatened to harm me. I am so sick of these calls.
