Type of a scam Identity Theft
Received a voice mail advising that my SS card would be suspended in 24 hours because it had been tagged in Texas regarding a container of drugs. I called the number back. They gave 2 names and 2 addresses and asked if I knew them. I answered no. They then asked for my home address so the US Marshalls could come visit and hand deliver the paper work. I answered no they could not have my address. They advised that I was not cooperating and that I could face up to 9 years in prison for not cooperating. I asked if they had all my information why did they need me to tell them. The guy on the phone advised again that this needed to be straightened out immediately and I needed to cooperate. He asked again for my information. I hung up the phone. I still have the recorded voice mail they left.

Received a phone call I did not answer but the caller stated he was a US Marshall Deputy and asked for my husband using his full legal name. He left a phone number for him to call back and stated that he had a legal matter that needed to be resolved today. We are not returning his call.

Type of a scam Tax Collection
Was told I was under IRS fraud & I owed money. Stated 2 agents sent to house with no answer and now within 2 hrs I would be arrested on a no bond warrant and be imprisoned for 18 mos before a trial. That not even a,lawyer could help me.
