Type of a scam Government Grant
Got an IM from a friend stating they got money from a government grant to help them out and if I wanted to fill it out to get some extra money during the crisis. I clicked the link to fill out the papers, Mr. Tom Brown was my contact 313-854-8330, Told my to select which grant would best fill my need, as a single mother with 7 kids, I choose single parent. He processed the papers and called me back a couple of hours later from a different phone #1-941-275-9765, letting me know he was now back at the processing office and sent an Image of a check with my name on it, for a large sum of money stating there was a processing & tax fee, once I pay in bit coin the check would be on the way. I sent the money and then the next day got a call from 1-916-250-2592 that a shipping fee was neccessary for the large amt. Went to send that and nothing called to see if they got it and the shipping # and no answer from any of the phone #s. 2days and $2010.00 later no word and now the phone #s don’t work. I am a single mother of seven who needed some extra help and now I am in worst shape than I started.

A man came to my home and told me about his siding business. He said he had been in business 36 + years. He never told me his name and the only information on the "contract" is USA and 3180470-3143. All the other information is my name and address and a general description of the work to be done. I had told him I needed to see if I could get the $7000 and now the entire thing seems like a scam. From what I have been told, his estimate is way to high and there is no business name or address on the proposal form. It looks like it was bought from an office supply store.
