Type of a scam Online Purchase
I’m pretty sure I got scammed by someone. I was buying a puppy online and at first it seemed legit. I talked to the guy for sometime and then decided I wanted to purchase the pup. Once I got it paid off of a total of $480 they got in contact with United Air Logistics, a ‘flight agency’, for delivery. After some time they kept wanting to get money out of me they wanted me to pay a $990 "refundable" insurance fee. Then the guy who sold me ‘the puppy’ blocked me and then to so called ‘agency’ kept emailing me and then wanted $1500 something from me and that was the last straw. The "agency" told me basically I would be charged with animal abandonment if I didn’t pay what they wanted. Yesterday the guy who sold it to me texted me saying all this BS and then I told him I wasn’t paying anymore money and then texted "I want a address to get the pup" to see what his reaction would be. He replied with something about getting hold of the agency to get their address and then he would get back to me. I went to check if his fb page was still up, it’s not. His Facebook page is gone. After all this BS he never texted me again. I still have all the conversations. I never bought a dog online but after this I’m never going to again. I’m going to adopt or get one from family.
