I did a google search for extension ladders on google and to my surprise, wowitus was offering a 24″ Louisville fiberglass ladder for $89.99. Yeah, I should have known better, but since they were using paypal I took the bait. After a week went by with no tracking number or response from wowitus and seeing that my account still listed the sale as pending I contacted paypal to report the issue. wowitus sent me a hair tie valued at around $1. Paypal does not have a full staff right now and can not be reached by phone and the scammers are taking advantage of this. I have saved all of my documentation to verify this if anyone needs help. SCAM!

Wowitus.com provided a fake UPS tracking number to make it appear that my item was delivered. Calling UPS, I found that the tracking number was actually for another person’s package from Amazon. UPS automatically cancelled my investigation because "they don’t investigate Amazon packages". Paypal’s automated claims system denied the claim because the tracking number shows delivery. Scam sites like *********************************** describe similar experiences from multiple other people.
