Type of a scam Yellow Pages/Directories
I had a person call me saying they were from Collections for Yellow Pages Direct. They said I owed $925 and it was for an online listing. They said they could take it down to $725 if I paid today. I tried to get them to explain when I signed up for this and they said I paid them last year and it is a 2 year contract and now I owe for the 2nd year. I unfortunately paid them and am now thinking it is a scam. I can find no record of paying them a year ago.
