I am just alerting you to potential fraud, I have not been a victim of this. Got an email asking for video production services (that’s what my company does)including a date and address. I told them I required 50% prepayment. They emailed that the payment was on the way but then emailed that they had accidentally overpaid and requested that I direct deposit the difference. I refused. The direct deposit request included a bank name, address, and account number. This screams out as fraud, and I had a friend experience a similar situation. I want to report this to help stop whomever is responsible if it is indeed fraud.
