My computer locked up and I received an internet bulletin saying my computer had a security breach and I needed to contact a technical support person. They gave a # and when I called, I was told my computer no longer had any security protection and I could purchase some from them. They said they were Apple technicians, which I have an Apple, and even showed that I had a "worm" in my computer that needed to be taken care of and they would if I purchased one of their programs. I gave them my credit card info, and when they tried to process it, it was declined. I called the bank and my bank said the company was showing "high risk" on their end and was probably fraudulent. I was already suspicious so when I said something to the technicians, they just disappeared off my computer.
