On 10/04/2015, I contacted what I thought was an appliance repair contractor at a phone number under a Craigslist listing. Two men arrived that evening to diagnose the problem with our dishwasher. The head man, who said his name was Kevin, said it needed a new diverter. He said he would have to order the part which would take a few days to get in, at which time his partner, Ronnie, would call me to set up an appointment to install. His terms were $105., which as I did understand included a $30 service call (which I willingly paid to him in cash), and an additional $120. once the job was completed. Days and then weeks go by with no word from either of the men. I have called numerous times and each time get a voicemail recording. I have left several messages for them to call me and explain what’s going on. Silence has been the result. My wife and I are now considering filing a police report to, if not recoup our money, at least make the authorities aware of these despicable characters and their scheme.
